Understanding the complex and dynamic qualities of natural systems is the cornerstone of CLOUSTON’s approach to environmental projects. Planning, design and management outcomes are focused on protecting resources, conservation of biodiversity and celebrating the life affirming values of the living planet. We pursue these values in environmental conservation projects at local and regional level, and through collaboration with our network of scientific consultants throughout Australia and internationally.
The natural systems and processes are the driving force, for both intact ecosystems and modified environments. Our planning and design work on such seminal projects as The Fogg Dam Masterplan, NT and the Parramatta River Masterplan in Sydney underlines the effectiveness of big picture thinking and long term strategies in ‘creating’ conservation wins.
Collaborating with local scientific specialists, we are also exporting this experience for the conservation of mangrove habitat in the UAE.
